restaurants. Browse goods from local vendors. We’ll also have music all
day long both days and a kids area for the young’uns. The best part? It
won’t cost you a dime. This event is free to all who attend. We hope to

June 2 - 9, 2012
National Fishing and Boating Week (NFBW) - A national celebration of fishing and boating. Coinciding with most state's free fishing days, NFBW occurs each year during the first full week of June.

First day of Summer. This day has the longest duration of daylight for the year.

June 29 - July 1, 2012
Operation Dry Water is a national weekend of Boating Under the Influence (BUI) detection and enforcement aimed at reducing the number of alcohol and drug-related accidents and fatalities and fostering a stronger and more visible deterrent to alcohol and drug use on the water. Operation Dry Water is held the last weekend in June prior to the Fourth of July holiday. In 2010, marine law enforcement organizations from all 50 states participated and contacted 66,472 boaters and issued 11,693 warnings and citations.
